Always had my hair looked after at a top west end salon, so although Cambridge is a cosmopolitan city, I didn't expect the level of excellence and professionalism that I received at Stilo Nuovo.
I was booked in with Robbie. This man knows his craft inside and out. Everything from the time I arrived ran like clockwork. The consultation was thorough. He made a point of going through caring for my hair and gave me an absolutely killer cut. There is no doubt at all - from now on, I am not going anywhere else.
The prices are really competitive with the chains, but you don't need a chain when you are dealing with people that take pride and pleasure in providing a first class service. Go there- you really won't be disappointed.’ - Jo

‘I’ve been to this salon a few times (which also offers beauty treatments) and have been impressed. The hairdresser cut my hair very well in modern, pleasant surroundings but not too intimidating. It’s centrally located and the prices are quite reasonable. Look out for their 'model nights’ for reduced prices and student discounts. They never seem to be too busy in there, maybe it’s because the shop doesn’t have a big facade, only a stairwell leading up to the salon! They also offer beauty treatments such as tanning and manicures.’ – Cath

‘This salon is located opposite the main entrance to St John’s College. The premises are spread over several floors without a lift, so potential clients with mobility difficulties should bear this in mind.
The business offers both hairdressing and beauty treatments at a reasonable price- a student discount is available during the week.
